My Return

Well, I have returned from what was supposed to be a one month hiatus that turned into two months. It was a much needed break however and took a nice trip back to my hometown NYC where I spent time with family.

Anyway, let’s get back down to business here. Sometimes unfortunate events occur even if all safety protocols are followed. For instance, Sunday in Orlando, FL 40 people attending Wrestlemania 24 were injured when a fireworks malfunction caused minor burns to people in the stands.

Reports say about 74,000 people were in attendance at the Florida Citrus bowl Stadium for the event. When one of the four cables suspending the fireworks display above the stadium broke loose and caused the fireworks to shoot down into the stadium and on the fans below. Three people were transported to the hospital.

Officials say that the WWE had done everything right, filed the correct permits and had conducted tests. It appears to be an unfortunate accident according to investigators.

Below is some RAW footage of the incident, hard to view but we will update it if we get better video.

Here is a much better video of the event thanks to tbdrunk
