Obama Wants To Kill Missile Defense, This Is Why You Should Not Let That Happen
National security is an extremely important issue to me, and should be for every American.
Under the Constitution, it is the responsibility of our federal government to provide for the common defense of the nation and its people.
However, the current administration and some others do not feel that the role of missile defense is important. They want to do away with and completely scrap the progress that has been made in this area in the last 26 years.
It would take only 33 minutes for a ballistic missile launched on the other side of the world to hit its target in the United States. Just one missile armed with one nuclear warhead would have a devastating effect on the entire Country.
Just one well placed missile over the Continent detonated in the atmosphere would produce an EMP that would wipe out all electronics in the United States, parts of Canada, and Mexico.

I watched the video and it, indeed, raised the "fear" hair on my neck. Yes, I do fear nonstate and rogue state actors detonating a nuclear device in the U.S. With the technology today, a number of terrorists that I could count on one hand could wreak havoc in America's heartland. North Korea and Iran could supply them with all the material they need...they don't need to develop the total package by themselves! However, I don't think we should install missle defense systems in easter Europe; that is a threat to Russia.
I fear these nonstate and small, radical Islamic terrorist groups than a country like Iran or N. Korea from shooting a missle at the U.S. On the same note, what if China and her thousands of "hackers," broke into our computerized defense and intelligence agencies while an electro-magnetic bomb was exploded over America? It would be a nghtmare. China already has the opportunity to do gain all the intel they need to coordinate such an event. Iin Cuba, China operates a super-secret complex that eavesdrops on our satellite-based military transmissions, the messages contained in our home and business faxes, and e-mails.
CIA agents in Cuba grew suspicious when large numbers of names like Yao Lee, Hsin Chow, and Yo-Yo Qian booked into hotels in Havana in the late 1990's. Sure enough, a Chinese electronic espionage facility sprang up. In return, Beijing gave Castro electronic countermeasures to block Radio Marti from carrying pro-U.S. Radio~Miami and TV broadcasts into Cuba from Miami.
A cloak-and-dagger operation near Bejucal, a small town south of Havana, has orbiting satellites and ground based, state-of-the art signals intelligence hardware. Like a vacuum sweeping up dust particles off a carpet, they already suck up satellite-based U.S. military communications, along with business and personal computer e-mails, telex and fax messages.
We are vulnerable to a coordinated strike by an ICBM fired from N. Korea, Iran or any rogue country, like Afghanistan if the Taliban and al-Queda topple the government and gain control to ICBM's.
Once again, I watched the video and these were my thoughts. If the U.S. were ever attacked, it would be a combination of all the above.
