Iran Designed and Tested Components of Advanced Nuclear Warhead

Iran has secretly designed Nuclear Warhead so advanced that it is still being kept largely a secret in the U.S. and Britain.

What details have been released is that it uses a "two point implosion" and that they have tested components of this design.

This is the first claim that Iran has sought such advanced weaponry, which nuclear experts have called "breathtaking."

The IAEA has sent a dossier to Iran, asking for explanation on this and some other findings that are not known at this time.

Nuclear Attacks May Be More Likely In Coming Years and How To Survive One

The North Koreans have stated they are going to re-establish their nuclear capabilities. The Iranians are actively seeking nuclear material and believed to be seeking nuclear weapons. The Pakistanis already have what is believed to be 120-200 nuclear war heads.

In addition Pakistan has allegedly started making more weapons, though they publicly deny it, they also have the worst history as far as spreading nuclear knowledge and have assisted in nuclear proliferation in the past. Worse still Pakistan is being over-run by radical fundamentalists that would like nothing more than to destroy the United States and its allies.

Reportedly, though unconfirmed some of these radicals in Pakistan may already be in control of some of the nuclear sites within the country.

The likely hood of a nuclear attack inside the United States is increasing day by day, and I am not just talking about dirty bombs, but actual nuclear weapons.

Whether it is from a small suitcase type weapon, small nuclear device or bomb inside a truck, a missile launched from a ship close to our shore or even an ICBM launched by another state or group the threat is real.

Though I hope and pray I am incorrect this could happen in a time frame sooner than you may think, even in the next 3 to 10 years. In truth it may even happen tomorrow since I can't say when for certain, but you must know that the capability for it happening upon us.

The Missile Defense Program, which has seen much success has also taken a hit further reducing our capabilities to respond to several types of these attacks.

In addition we are completely unprepared right now for such an attack. Both from a national security stand point and in our private sector.

Think about it. If such an attack were to occur right now. Today. Would you even know what to do to survive? Most people do not know what to do.

Though there are a number of things you can do to prepare for such an attack, one thing is learning what you can do to better your chances for survival.

Below is a video from TED presented by Irwin Redlener on Surviving a Nuclear Attack. It is an excellent resource and a great place to start in learning what you can do to survive.

Hope you enjoy it.

Obama Wants To Kill Missile Defense, This Is Why You Should Not Let That Happen

National security is an extremely important issue to me, and should be for every American.

Under the Constitution, it is the responsibility of our federal government to provide for the common defense of the nation and its people.

However, the current administration and some others do not feel that the role of missile defense is important. They want to do away with and completely scrap the progress that has been made in this area in the last 26 years.

It would take only 33 minutes for a ballistic missile launched on the other side of the world to hit its target in the United States. Just one missile armed with one nuclear warhead would have a devastating effect on the entire Country.

Just one well placed missile over the Continent detonated in the atmosphere would produce an EMP that would wipe out all electronics in the United States, parts of Canada, and Mexico.

Please watch this video, and go to the site 33 Minutes.

If you can, go see the full one hour documentary as well.

IAEA: Iran Has Enough Fuel To Make Nuclear Bomb

The United Nations Nuclear watchdog, IAEA announced through a report yesterday that Iran has enough fuel to make a bomb and show that Iran had amassed about 2,227 pounds of low-enriched, or reactor-grade, nuclear fuel by late January.

Physicists estimate that producing the 55 pounds or so of highly enriched, or weapons-grade, uranium needed for an atomic warhead requires 2,205 to 3,748 pounds of low-enriched uranium.

The announcement seems to come as a surprise even to scientists, diplomats and arms control experts alike, who all thought that it would take Iran until the end of this year to amass the fuel needed to create a weapon.

One expert, David Albright of the Washington-based Institute for Science and International Security, said he was "blindsided" by the report.

"We are surprised," Albright said. "We did not expect this."

By crossing the 2,205-pound threshold, experts say, Iran has improved its "breakout" capacity, the ability to renege on treaty obligations, kick out inspectors and quickly build a bomb.

Albright said, the uranium stockpile signifies "a capability, not a decision." And even if Iran made such a decision, it would face numerous major hurdles to building a bomb.

In reading other reports about this I personally am not surprised, See our other post: Iran To Have Nukes Within Three Months

and: Irans Secret Nuclear Ambitions Not So Secret and also: Cause For Concern? Iran States They Successfully Launched Satellite Into Space.

The last story if true give Iran the capability of not just having a nuclear weapon, but also of being capable of launching an ICBM.

Cause For Concern? Iran States They Successfully Launched Satellite Into Space

Photo by WharmanSending off alarm signals around the world, Iran announced the successful launch of their first domestically made satellite into space.

The U.S. State Department said Iran’s development of a space-launch vehicle gives the country the “technical basis” to develop long-range ballistic missile systems.

At a time when world pressure on Iran is building against their nuclear program, it may pose more trouble to the Obama administration at a time when they are attempting to reach out to Iran to establish a dialog.

Even France is worried and has expressed concern over the launch of the Satellite.

Though this may cause more international pressure to increase against Iran, time is running short. I personally doubt much will be done to stop Iran.

If nothing is done, they will not only have a nuclear weapon but the capability to launch  long range missiles as well.
